November 1: Learning Forum
Taking College Savings Accounts to Scale
This educational event will address three critical problems facing Texas related to postsecondary education: the low rate of graduation from high school, the low number of students attending postsecondary institutions and the unacceptable rate of Texans completing a degree or certification. A number of financial options and potential solutions will be presented. All include starting savings accounts early in a child’s life. Examples of large-scale rewards and incentives from the public and private sectors will be highlighted.

November 2: RAISE Texas Summit
Building a Savings Culture in Texas—Dreams Can Come True
This year’s RAISE Texas Summit will focus on successful launches and expansions of savings products and programs and update efforts to build a savings revolution in Texas. Highlights include cutting-edge work on incentivized savings accounts, savings at tax time, children’s savings accounts, financial education and alternative small-dollar consumer loans.
