Generally, you’ll get the most out of our webinars if you are a community development professional or practitioner, financial institution representative, or policymaker, or if you have an interest in furthering the economic growth and financial stability of low- and moderate-income communities.

Why should I attend Connecting Communities?

The Federal Reserve is actively engaged in community development research and outreach. We often partner with and learn from external organizations doing similar work. Each Connecting Communities virtual event complements Fed research and outreach initiatives aimed at understanding and addressing economic challenges facing lower-income communities. These initiatives focus on building a more inclusive US economy that works for everyone.

What topics will Connecting Communities cover?

Connecting Communities is designed to broaden the knowledge of those working to support low- and moderate-income people and neighborhoods, communities of color, and other underserved areas across the United States. Webinar topics typically focus on some aspect of housing, workforce development, small business access to credit, and other issues around economic inclusion. How long is each Connecting Communities webinar?

Connecting Communities webinars generally last 60 minutes. Each webinar features 25-30 minutes of speaker presentations followed by an interactive question-and-answer session.
