We support free tax preparation services like Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and IRS Direct File to ensure Texans can access valuable credits like the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Child Tax Credit (CTC). These essential federal tax credits provide unrestricted cash that families can use to meet immediate needs and invest in their futures.
RAISE Texas partners with members to increase access to savings programs, credit-building tools, affordable loans, and personalized financial coaching. These practical solutions help Texans achieve their financial goals and build long-term stability.
Recognizing the critical link between health and financial well-being, RAISE Texas works to increase access to affordable healthcare through initiatives like premium assistance for Marketplace insurance and enhanced navigator resources. We also advocate for accessible charity care and stronger protections around medical debt. By addressing the financial challenges of healthcare, we aim to support Texans in improving their health outcomes and building lasting financial stability.

Through the Texas Financial Coaching Hub, we provide resources and training for financial coaches and counselors statewide. These experts guide Texans in managing debt, building assets, and achieving their financial goals.
In partnership with our members, we advocate for policies that enhance financial health and economic stability, from expanding consumer protections to addressing predatory lending and eliminating benefit cliffs.
RAISE Texas offers technical assistance to nonprofits and community-based organizations, helping them design and expand programs like Children's Savings Accounts, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), financial coaching, and premium assistance programs for Marketplace Health Insurance. Together, we build stronger community resources for asset building.
